"In my semi-distant Irish Celtic lineage, a Bard is a storyteller. My moms maiden name is Ward which
means: “son or descendant of the Bard.” My great grandfather was born in Ireland and walked from house to
house telling stories and was known to tell stories by the fire in his own house in Donegal. So in honor of the Irish,
Gaelic tradition, Bardic means a certain way of storytelling. Bardic because it encompasses poetry,
music, and storytelling all at once ... in the modern way, is how I approach the art of filmmaking."
